Analia comes from Argentina's second tango capital, the port city of Rosario. She founded the project Las Chirusas there, which has become an integral part of Rosario's tango scene. Since 2004 she has concentrated entirely on her work as a tango DJ, going by the name of La Rubia, puro Tango Argentino. Her knowledge and intimate relationship with the tango has enabled her to develop a personal style and a unique sound. Through traditional DJing, with tandas and cortinas, La Rubia plays between the dancers’ emotions and the deeper history of tango. She makes you dance with your soul.
In almost 250 towns and 38 countries all over the world, from America to Europe and Asia, people have danced to her music, and other DJs look to her as a model.
A lover of tango music from all eras, Jose Luis (Pepe) likes to center his music in the Golden Age of tango, with a touch of Guardia Vieja and the great orchestras of the 50s and 60s. He tries to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere by choosing different orchestras, varying between melodic and rhythmic. D'Arienzo, Troilo, Pugliese, Di Sarli, D'Agostino, Caló, and Tanturi are the backbone of his playlists. His sense of humor and energizing dancing set make him very popular. He is a frequent guest at encuentros, marathons and milongas in Barcelona where he lives, as well as many countries in Europe, and in his native Argentina.
DJ Naoko's music selection is known as '100% Bailable!' — it's so irresistible you cannot stay off the floor. An expert in creating the right ambience for the moment, she connects and communicates with dancers through her music, letting it develop naturally. She loves seeing happy faces on the floor and considers being a DJ as her dream job.
Originally from Japan, she dived into the world of Tango soon after discovering beauty of Argentina and its warm people. She was the sole resident DJ at the popular practica/milonga TANGOCOOL! (in Club Villa Malcolm) for 4 years until its closure in 2013. She has been invited to DJ not only in Buenos Aires but also around the world. After living in Buenos Aires for 7 years is now based in Barcelona, Spain.
It was the music that inspired Tina Ferrari to start dancing tango in 2003. When she’s not on the dance floor, you can find her at the DJ console, with her selections of music from the Golden Age of tango. Tina's first experience DJing was in 2008 in Buenos Aires, at a little milonga called "Asi se Baila el Tango" in the historic neighborhood of San Telmo. She lived and danced in Buenos Aires for a year and a half before moving to Italy in 2009. Currently based in Gorizia, she travels often to DJ at various milonguero events throughout Europe. She is co-organizer of the encuentro milonguero M.M. Elite in Bologna, Italy, and Romance del Lago in Bled, Slovenia.
Victoria prepares her sessions through an ongoing study of the history of tango, the orchestras, instrumentalists, singers, and the recordings. While rooted in her knowledge of the tango and its evolution, a knowledge of music therapy also helps her evaluate the response of the dance floor to the music. She believes each session is different and is created on the spot.

Barcelona is famous for its architecture, excellent cuisine, wonderful clothes and great prices for shopping. It is charming and cosmopolitan with wonderful weather. We recommend keeping a couple of extra vacation days, before or after the event, to explore the city. This way you can also enjoy the milonga afterparties!
The encuentro takes place at the DioClub ballroom every year. This wonderful ballroom makes all the dancers fall in love with its beautiful ambience and 300 square meters of perfect wooden floor! Keeping numbers to only 250 guests ensures everyone’s comfort. As our guests prefer free seating during the encuentro, the arrangement does not separate the men and women.
For the perfect closure to an encuentro amongst friends, we have an excellent wooden floor in a perfectly sized room to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
